Suzi Hubler, Instructor/Owner

B.Sc. in Psychology and German

NCCP Level 2 Women's Artisitc, Level 2 Trampoline

As High Junction’s owner and head gymnastics’ coach, Suzi's coaching experience dates back to 1979 and her love for gymnastics to when she was a child growing up in Switzerland. Gymnastics has always been a big part of Suzi’s life. She began her coaching career at a private school in Etobicoke and teaching YMCA and City of Toronto programs during her University of Toronto years where she earned her Bachelor of Science in psychology and German. In 2005, Suzi joined T-Dot Tumblers Gymnastics Academy where she specialized in teaching pre-school aged children and recreational gymnastics.

Suzi’s passion and speciality is working with children and beginner athletes. As a mother herself, she absolutely loves working with the youngest of gymnasts watching how excited the kids get when they learn a new skill. Her psychology major from the University of Toronto also gives her great insight to the cognitive abilities of children. She is continuously teaching coaches and volunteers under her guidance the different learning stages that children go through and how best to instill knowledge in them at different ages and still make gymnastics fun.

Suzi also has a great deal of experience working with children with disabilities and loves to see them thrive in her programs. Along with coaching preschool programs, Suzi has experience working with advanced recreational and trampoline programs as well as entry level competitive athletes. Suzi looks forward to growing her programs and establishing a reputable name for High Junction in the Toronto West community.
